Ask Drone Companion
Ask Drone Companion connects a question to the relevant app tool or curated knowledge instead of offering only a generic chat answer. Tell it your drone or a place when a useful answer depends on those details.
Ask a model-specific question
Ask how wind and gusts compare with a named drone's specifications, compare two supported drones, or request settings and an ND filter for a planned shoot. Where needed, the assistant asks which model or location you mean rather than inventing one.
Draw on connected tools
Wind and weather questions can use current weather data; settings and ND questions use the app's recommendation engine and shared calculator. General flying questions draw on curated Knowledge Centre entries, and answers can point to the corresponding tool. Available sources and answers can vary; check important details independently.
Use manuals and authorities for decisions
The assistant is not a search of your DJI manual and cannot verify a specific aircraft's current firmware or authorise a flight. Check the manufacturer's manual for model-specific procedures and the relevant aviation authority for current rules or permissions.
Access and limitations
Ask Drone Companion needs an internet connection and a subscription. Automated answers can be wrong; regulatory questions are redirected to official guidance, not legal clearance.
